Course Description:

The software is a building information modeling software for MEP engineers, designers and contractors

developed by Autodesk. It allows users to design a building and its components in 3D, annotate the model

with 2D drafting elements, and access building information from the building model's database.

Course Learning Outcomes:

You will know:

 Introduction to BIM Cycle.

 Understanding navigation and views, plan and elevation levels, and drawing tools and shortcuts.

 Understanding the difference between instance and types.

 Understanding material and texture, inserting, and working with families.

 Understanding the user interface and 2d, 3d views.

 Create & modify Electrical Templates.

 Create & modify Electrical equipment’s.

 Create & modify Electrical families.

 Worksharing & create workset.

•  IFC Imports.

•  Electrical design & shop drawing process.

•  Coordination between MEP & other services.

•  Understanding Work Planes and Reference Planes &Visibility and Graphics Management.

•  Working with 2d, 3d Views & Modeling Process.

•  Work with interface reports & clash detection

•  Prepare sheets & Print setting.
